The bassist-guitarist-vocalist is among our town's musical treasures. He's probably best known these days as the leader of the beloved Latin ensemble Grogus, but jazz fans who've been around awhile also know him as one of the founders of Squat, and his trio alternated for years with Kenosha Kid on Tuesday nights at Farm 255. Carl, all by himself, puts out the wattage of an ensemble, and he'll be doing his solo thing, maybe with a little percussion sitting in, at Hendershot's soon. We're hearing Friday, December 10.
