Debut album by Athens, Georgia located Half Dozen Brass Band. A bit 'rootsy' sounding CD on which jazz, hip - hop, funk and Dixieland is compressed into undisputed New Orleans Brass band music. The true vibe of the music isn't always experienced to the maximum on CD but without no doubt these cats take of the roof with their live performances. Easy Street comes as a relief.
